Le Lee, DO is a board-certified family medicine physician with the focus of individualized preventive medicine for you and your family. She moved here from Vietnam at the age of 12. Once settling in Hawaii and overcoming an initial language barrier, she went on to graduate as valedictorian from Kaimuki High School in 1995. She continued her education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, graduating with honors in 2001. Dr. Lee then joined the army and served in the Hawaii Army National Guard, before attending Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical School in Iowa, from where she also graduated with honors. Dr. Lee developed a love for wound care and went on to focus in this area while concurrently working in primary care. Dr. Lee resumed her military service after medical school. She was deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in 2010, and after her return, worked to serve the wounded soldiers coming back from Afghanistan, and ultimately retired as a LT Colonel. She then returned to Hawaii and joined Trade Winds Family Medicine in Kailua in 2018. She is enjoying living close to her extended family in Honolulu- which she proudly refers to as ‘HOME’!
